My kids pediatrician told me years ago to use Hydrogen Peroxide and it seems to work for us. Give it a shot!

If the wax is really impacted it will need to be irrigated out. You can try this yourself with a baby bulb syringe (the blue one). Always use warm water (cold will make you vomit) and dilute hydrogen peroxide (not straight). It may take several flushes. Once wax is impacted just putting in drops is not enough.
Once they are cleaned out, then continue the derox or cerumex every week to keep them clean.
You can also try a walk in clinic to get them irrigated out.

Use warm soapy water and flush them out, but don't use cotton tip swabs because they tend to pack the wax in. Don't put anything in your ear smaller then your elbo.

warm, not hot!olive oil,use a dropper if available but just about 1-2 tsp.leave in for about 10 minutes, that means lying still on your side AT LEAST 10 minutes,15 is better.
