I am considering purchasing a Meyer's Parrot (hatched in February) and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. I know quite a bit about the basic husbandry, but I was just hoping for some more specifics, personal experience, opinions of them, etc... I currently own a cockatiel and an Amazon, so I have experience with birds. Serious answers only please. Thank you!

That's a great choice. Meyer's parrots are so sweet. They're fairly quiet as far as birds go and they can learn to talk and they love to have their heads scratched. Good luck with your new bird.

I used to take care of a female and she was adorable; very quiet and friendly. Actually, she was so sweet that she inspired me to get my own bird!
