Follow-up Question.
Is it weird to go to the wedding but not the reception?? I feel horrible trying to RSVP when they have only 11 days until the wedding.

i would CALL, since it takes time for a RSVP to get there. the sooner you tell them the better.

It's definitely not very polite or convenient for the people putting the wedding together.
But, If you would really like to go CALL and apologize, and tell them why you didn't RSVP earlier, but if your excuse is not that good, them make up a story such as;
"I accidentally marked the wrong date in my calendar to RSVP you and I thought the RSVP deadline date was in 1 week"
or something like that should do the trick ; )
**but if you want to go call right away**
Good luck,
miss pinkette

If I wanted to go to the reception, I would RSVP NOW. It is not odd to just go to the ceremony.

Of course it's rude but it's is more rude not to RSVP at all than to do it late. They are probably waiting to here from you. Let them know.

SEND it, better late than never. Trust me their are still probably 75 responce cards I never got back and would have been a lot happier to get them a little late than never!

as long as it's not past the Wedding Dinner date. late is better than never, but still sucks.

You would need to call because they may have already given their numbers to the caterer and they may need to change the seating plan.

They will probably call you, but if you don't know of any way to contact these people, how are you invited to their wedding?

Not really, but if you want to go, apologize with a phone call and say you would really love to come.
