Yes, I do agree with the war. Yes, I do believe we are making progress. Yes, I do believe we can have victory. The only way we will lose is if ignorant people keep screaming and crying here in the U.S. and keep introducing bills which guarentee our failure.

Why would I agree with a war that has brought about an economic crisis that has had negative effects on so many people's lives? And what for? No, the negative effects haven't been only in the US and I'm sute that the effects have even been lesser in the US because it is a strong economy. So, why am I paying with blood, sweat and tears because there's some president namend Bush who decided he's going to save the world from... erm.. I'm not sure?
Apart from that, it's dramatic to see that since it is not just some "regular" war, I don't think anybody can win it. Meanwhile, I know look at the papers, listen to the news and see some more people have died in Iraq on a daily basis. And I just turn the page. It's too much old news. Now, isn't that sad? And what's the point? Iraq wasn't even a dangerous country to start with, not in a way that the terrorist groups that have expanded since it was invaded are, not even in a way that Iran may be...
A different thing is: should the US abandon Iraq now? I think probably not. That could be even worse. And you can compare Iraq with Vietnam only partly... But I simply fail to see any way out. But I find it interesting to see there are optimistic people who say "I trust our President" and so forth. It is endearing...

No we are loosing horribly, this is the most pointless war that America has ever aligned itself with. When you you go into any kind of conflict you are supposed to come out with a positive. When this war is all said and done there will be no positive only negatives. More deaths, a weaker US military, higher gas prices (for the middle class and below of course), etc.... George Bush is one of the worst presidents we have seen in a long time. Most people who say the war is good, have never been to war, don't have any close family or friends over there, or are just trying to stir up drama. We can not win the war even if we destroy all of Iraq because we will gain nothing from it.

Winning, always winning. If President Bush is forced out I will no longer support the war. Remember - Iraq attacked on 9/11 and only Bush can save America! Why won't libs surrender to Bush when they want to surrender Iraq to the Iraqi people!?!?

How would you feel if Iraq troops enter in your house and say that they are here for your good and therefore you have to follow the Islamic low? Eg no more parties, no more free dressing, etc.
Do you have the right to invade to a foreign country with excuses like nuclear (where are they) weapons? Of course you will never win this war... How could someone define such a victory?

War sucks!!! And since we are such meager animals, who can't find a better way to resolve our issues, it seems we are destined to continue the cycle. There are evil people in this world who must be stopped from time to time! But, some of them are here among us!!! Yes we can win the war! If we so desire! But if we're making large sums of money off the perpetuation of the war, then we probably don't want it to end! Do we? We kept Viet Nam alive for twenty years! Just like my comrades in arms in Viet Nam, the guys in Irag are winning the fight, but Washington is losing the war, again!!!

i'm with "Virginia Gentleman" up there regarding the bushy section. yet I customarily disagree with the conflict simply by fact: a million). Iraq posed no danger to america 2). we don't could desire to unfold democracy around the globe. chilly-conflict-era reasoning shouldn't nonetheless observe. 3). WMD danger in Iraq became vulnerable whilst in comparison with different countries (North Korea, Pakistan, etc). Iraq did no longer at the instant very own WMD and allowed inspectors into the country..they became up no longer something Iraq became somewhat no longer something yet a distraction. we could continually have centred totally on Afghanistan and the honestly Al Qaeda danger, yet quite we've been fed traces approximately democracy, terror, and issues that extremely had no longer something to do with Iraq. It have been given to the element the place many human beings in united statesa. wrongly believed that Al Qaeda became in Iraq, and that we mandatory to by some potential "combat the terrorists" in Iraq to maintain them faraway from us right here. And all of that became in basic terms organic farce.

Of course I agree with the war in Iraq.
Who wouldn't agree to wage an ILLEGAL war of CHOICE based upon a pack of filthy LIES that has resulted in the slaughter of over 400,000 innocent Iraqi civilians.
Who wouldn't LOVE to turn a TERRORIST FREE zone like Iraq was into a TERRORIST HAVEN.
Who wouldn't agree with this war when we realized that we could greatly increase our risk of terrorist attacks and cause membership in Al qaida to soar.
Who wouldn't agree with the Iraqi war for it has PERMANENTLY lost the US respect and trust of the nations and people of the world.
WE are for sure to lose the war in Iraq as it is now a civil war but I agree nonetheless it is a great war for now along with the Vietnam War we have two great strikes aagainst us and remember THREE STRIKES AND YOU ARE OUT !!!
When I look at all these reasons I really begin to think that Bush is in fact a member of al qaida for even they could not have done so much harm to the US Americans and the world as has Bush.Just ask the millions of loved ones of the over 400,000 innocent Iraqis that Bush's atrocity has seen slaughtered if they do not agree with me.
I could go on of course but I think you get the point.

Of course I do. The media focuses of the number of deaths and nothing else. My husband is on his third tour in Iraq and he told me not too long ago that things are alot better now than they were during his first tour. I trust those who have been there, not the media who chase death.

Nope...I don't agree with it at all. This retarded war in a country we're making no difference in (as stated by my company commander) is the reason my husband had to miss out on the birth of our daughter and won't see her until she's two months old. Bush can go f*ck himself for letting this continue.

I dont like it, but it probably made more sense in the beginning. Nobody knew it was going to be such a big mess. Problem is if we withdraw right now, it might encourage the rebels to spread and more of them could end up here in the future.
