To be honest maybe his friend really isnt the boyfriend type. He would know after all it's his friend. I mean he knows that he isnt the right person to be dating his sister no matter how much you all fight.girls would let their brothers date their friends but most girl arent the cheating type but i'm sure you wouldnt let him date your friend who sleeps with every guy. plus i'm sure he doesnt want to get caught in the middle of you and his friends fights. besides he doesnt want to hear about you two. do you really want to take your brother from his friend because that's what would end up happening
