This can be a tricky one. Whatever you do, don't try to pry the radio out from the front.

The radio and climate controls are built into one assembly, and the entire unit needs to be pushed out from the rear, taking the front dash bezel along with it. To do this, you need to remove the panel underneath the radio, which has the cigarette lighter built in. If you're lucky, there's a small switch panel that can be popped out. If you're less lucky, the entire dash panel has to come off, meaning you need to remove screws under the glove box door, and under the driver's side knee panel.

Once the panel under the radio is removed, you'll see two brass 5/16" bolts that secure the radio and climate control brackets. Remove the bolts and try to reach behind with your hand so you can push the assembly out. It's held in with pressure clips around the perimeter of the dash panel, but if you try to pry from the front, you'll leave marks on the dash around the panel.
