Depends on the man. Believe it or not we do have other interests :-)

That depends on the man, I am 29 and I have never really been interested in sex, maybe he's a good guy inside and just wants to be loved or maybe he thinks sex is not an act of love just pleasure. It is not abnormal. I don't know your man but just take a look around it might be cause he is getting it some where else. I am not saying that is what he is doing, but it happens all the time.

Some very interesting replies. I always imagined it was VERY abnormal. A man I was involved with in the past also went totally cold at 26 and lost all interest in sex. It was horrifying seeing as I loved him like mad. I used to cry every night. I ended up hating his guts! We split up. If for what ever reason he's gone cold - gay, or whatever - and it doesn't seem like it's going to get better then all you can do is move on, because otherwise the frustration will drive you insane!

You know I have found that ALL men are different. Some have a high sex drive at a young age, some do not, some have a high sex drive at an older age (and by that time are really good lol), some do not. Depends on the person. And I would think if their partner let them know that they thought that they were desirable.

It is as normal as the particular situation allows. He may be suffering from an inordinate amount of pressure from work. He may not be that into you. He may be confronting personal demons. He may have a drug related problem. As you can see, these are just a few of the things that can alter a man's sex drive at this age. Do not discard any of them and sit down with him and see what the possible cause can before jumping to any conclusions!

If you're just getting into a relationship and his sex drive is low, I woudn't say that it's normal. (However, keep in mind that his drive might not be low, but he's actually trying to respect the girl's feelings.)

If you've been in a relationship for a long while, then it's normal for a guy's sex drive to diminish a little bit over the years. Not down to absolutely nothing, but it's going to be much lower than when he was 17-18.

It could be natural for that individual, some people do have less interest in sex than others.

But in most cases, for a 25 year old male not to have any interest at all, I'd say he has some physical or emotional problem.

Well that's kinda weird if you ask me because I'm 25 and I feel like my sex drive is kicked into 6Th gear lol. Seems like my sex drive causes problems for my relationship so I would definitely think that's kinda odd from my perspective, but everybody is different though. Maybe it takes doing something exotic or freaky to get this person going have you explored with him or no?

Babs just come and get it here!

Seriously, yes it is normal. All kinds of things could put him off, from illness, worry, money worries, work worries, pressure, routine. Just don't push him too hard and don't feel that either one of you should dictate how things go, just do what comes naturally without any demands. You will be fine. Give him time.

Uh, no!

Probably important to you if you're asking. So get to the bottom of it soon. Could be a physical issue, mental, or even guilt.

Talk it through. He might have a life threatening issue.
