I say the egg because dinosaurs came before chickens and dinosaurs laid eggs. it didnt say it had to be a chicken egg.

Chicken. Becuase god made all animals and if egg was first... It cant be proteceted becuase most chickens lay on the egg to give them warmth but if the egg was first--- it can die easily becuase no one is taking care of it...
