Mederma works, but you have to follow the instructions and massage it into the skin 2-3 times per day. You only need to use a tiny bit each time, so be careful how much you squeeze out. It can leave a dry flaky residue on your skin after it dries, so make sure you wash that residue off before you rush out of the house. Also, be sure to wash the area before each application. If you just leave the old Mederma on, and cover more on top, it can clog your pores. The best price I saw was $13 at Target.

Hi:
There is an exellent product on the market at very reasonable prices. Check your local stores, but your pharmacy will have it I am sure, it is called "Maderma" and it helps to heal the scars and fade them away as much as possible. It costs about $7-9.00 a tube but just a drop goes a long way.
I have used it on scars from when I was a child and also on stretch marks from pregnancy and I have had positive results from it.
Be safe and be well

Where are the scars and what kind of scars are they? Insect bites, surgery recovery? There are scar tapes and creams at the drug stores or vitamin E creams do wonders too. I had my thyroid removed due to cancer and my doc told me about the scar tapes. Just like bandaids but have some stuff in it to help the scar and now you really do not notice it unless I tell them where it is.
Hope this helps!
Cheers!

They are TONS of lotions and creams you can use from wal mart but scars don't usually go away so easily so you should talk to a doctor about whats best to use.
