im thinking on getting meduim size of the english rose on my calf muscles aka the lower part of my leg for my 1st tattoo and i would like to know how long did it normally take and what do u think it will cost me and how bad is the pain and where would u normally go which u think is one of the best tattoo shops around.
p.s im 19 year from the northeast england

I sport a GRIM REAPER on my right forearm,no it does not hurt. Go for it! No idea on t shops.

Only one, a wolf standing on a stone, on my left part of the upper back. It's about 8 inches big
I paid about 80 euros. The tattoo artist was a french tattoo champion in 1997

I've got five so far, and getting two more this week.
Hard to say how much it'll cost because shops can vary, some charge by the hour, some by how intricate the piece. You'd need to ask an artist that. And for pain, well there all going to be painful in some way but if this girl can get five tattoo's and plan on two more... then you can handle it! ;-)

I have 5 tattoos.
2 on my chest, a mermaid and a swallow (worst pain)
1 on my wrist, "virulent" in a pretty script (fairly bad)
1 inside my lip, "C37859" as a memorial to my horse, he had the same tattoo from when he was a racehorse. (virtually painless)
1on my hip, [Wm] the abbreviation for my fiance's name. (mildly painful)
But you should be fine for pain, because you are getting your tatt on a fleshy part of your body.
As for cost, it varies a lot. Make sure you shop around for a good deal, but keep the cleanliness of the shop in mind too.

I have a small ladybug on my shoulder and YES it hurt!
Cost $50. The bigger the tattoo and the more involved, the more it will cost. Good luck with that!

i have two tattoo's one is on my right ankle and it's hearts(red)and i have one on my hip of a heart there both small so it didn't take long but hurt real bad the outline hurts the most and takes the longest I'm in USA so i don't have any recommendation's good luck

i have one of an eye on the back of my neck. When you get it at first, your first one there will be a pain or sensation (but a cool one, it feels like a sharp vibration under the skin) but you quickly get over it especially since you want a tattoo - so no it won't hurt.
like i always say, if you want it, it won't hurt

I have 5 tats, the pain was bearable and the cost was about $100.00 per hour of work

I'm assuming this is in color, if its taking up alot of your calf its not going to be cheap, but hey nothing good ever is. I think the idea for its really nice, I have 3 and just love them all; the one on my arm is especially meaningfull.
