I am looking to buy a 2007 model car and would like to know when the dealers have their biggest sales.

my best bet would be right around this time of the year, most 08 models are beginning to come out and the supervisors are pushing to clear the lots. I think the best day to buy is on a Tuesday because the weekend has come and gone and the sales tend to drop after saturday and sunday. This is all true if you are buying a current year car such as a 2007 but if you are after a 2008 this scheme likely wont work.

Late fall or early winter. The trouble is that when the price goes down, so does the selection. You may not be able to get exactly what you want in a car, if you wait too long. If all that doesn't bother you then wait until close to the end of the year or even early January.

towards the end of any month or the end of the year they always have the close out sales,and that's the best time to get a good deal on one,they want to move the old models out and make room for the newer ones,good luck on it,

feb and march or oct nov this is when thay try to bring in the new out with the old
