which car is harder to drive?

An Audi R10, Corvette C6.R, Nascar stock car, a Formula One car, Champ car, or an Indy car?

The F1 car, it would take you a couple of hours just to figure out what all the buttons on the steering wheel are for.

I would say the NASCAR stock car. It is heavy, typically built and setup to go around ovals (the setup tweaks make the car "want" to turn left).

A quick car in a road course situation is typically hard to drive in any of these series because a really quick setup means the car is likely oversteery (loose) and what makes it hard is catching it. I've met a few drivers and very rarely do they prefer understeering setups.

The R10 might be the least difficult of those you've listed. I once talked to Bill Adam at the Mt-Tremblant Historics about the R8 (the R10's predecessor) and he said it was a joy to drive.

most people who answer this question probably wont look at the technical data and driving charistics of these cars and will base there opinion on what car they think is best, the guy above me was correct in saying that just getting an f1 car out the garage would be more than the average man could do, more than likely youd be doing dounuts in the pits till the read end hit something,

the R10 has alot of cool gadgets built into it auto matic rev sequancing on shifts, you shift up with your foot firmly planted on the gas peddle whial you down shift on the breaks no heal toeing, but it also has no breaking assiatance, it is pure mechanical linkage as per le mans spec great to go but hard as hell to stop

a nascar doesnt turn, one thing most people dont realize is how much over stere has to be cranked into a nascar to make it turn, they literaly run on a knife edge of traction,

but the question is which is harder to drive and i do believe the answer is f1, jeff gordon stated that when comming off the main straight at indy in jpms williams that the breaking for going into turn 1 was so great that all the blood in his head rushed into his face and he was on the edge of passing out ( fighter pilots call this red out or g-lock) then the car slowed enough the blood settled back in his brain his vision came back to him and he carried the car the rest of the way through the turn, this would kill most of us

Formula 1 is the fastest, biggest, baddest and most grueling car you could put against the others you mentioned. It constantly goes from 200 to 60, back to 200 mph through turns and traffic with open-wheels less than 1 inch from some of the other cars out there.

And they don't drive in a circle, and they don't drive on banked turns. They drive into curves, and the roadway goes up, down, left, and right.

A formula 1 car would be easy to drive? Most people couldnt even get them out of the garage with out stalling them. They have so much power to weight the average person wouldnt be able to control them and there is no way they would be able to drive anywhere near its limits. To drive to the limit no one would get close to it in an f1 car.

From listening to drivers, mostly those from open wheel, they say cars with fenders are more difficult to drive.

Of the cars you listed, they are all fairly easy to drive, although, I'd have to say NASCAR cars are the most difficult to drive, mainly due to "loose", pushing" conditions, along with loss of down force, it all adds up to more adjustments being made, and hopefully the adjustment made are beneficial.
