If the holy spirit is God's impersonal active force, why is the holy spirit referred to as "he" and "him" in Jn 16:7-8 and Jn 16:13-14?

In support of your point more could be said about pronouns referring to the Holy Spirit. Another question to ask is if the Holy Spirit is a mere force or influence why does he have distinctly personal characteristics? He has his own mind (Romans 8:27). He searches (1 Corinthians 2:10-11). He has a will (1 Corinthians 12:11). He speaks (Acts 13:2, Revelation 2:7). He intercedes for believers (Romans 8:26). He works (Acts 20:28, 1 Corinthians 12:11). He can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30). He can be sinned against (Matthew 12:31-32). He can be lied to (Acts 5:3). No mere power or influence has a mind and will of its own, speaks, intercedes and works. A power or influence cannot be lied to, sinned against, or grieved. These are all distinct characteristics of a person.

For Patrick, just a few passages:

Scripture says he is eternal (Hebrews 9:14) omnipresent (Psalm 139:7-10) and omniscient (1 Corinthians 2:10-11). In Acts 5:4 he is called God. Sometimes the “voice of God” in the Old Testament is said to have been the “voice of the Holy Spirit” in the New Testament. Compare Exodus 16:7 with Hebrews 3:7-9; and Isaiah 6:8-10 with Hebrews 3:7-9. More could be said on the Spirit’s deity.

The Holy Spirit is also very personal in Acts. If the Father and Son are persons, so is the Spirit.

You have the trinity brochure, read it yourself.
You have taken the time to go ahead and try to make the JW's jump through hoops. As a Catholic, I would think you would realize, that your church's history is so full of blood and oppression, that you would perhaps take a more delicate approach. But it seems as if you want to take the kid gloves off. So, let's go.
Why did the Catholic church support Adolph Hitler in WW2?
Why did the Catholic Chruch hide the sexual abuse of it's alter boys for 60+ years?
Why does the Catholic Church Exalt the Pope as infallible without scriptural support?
Why does the Catholic Church worship and pray to Mary, the saints or any one that is not Almighty God?
I have met people like you before. You have great sport trying to make the JW's jump through hoops for your entertainment
Yet you, are a member of the most unscriptural religion on earth today.
You participate in the pagan practices of easter, christmas, and you even have halloween parties at you halls.
The audacity of you, trying to besmirch the JW's is just amazing.

Oh, to anser your question?
Several inanimate things in the Bible are referred to in the personal. Does that mean that wisdom(which is said to have children) is a person too?
Yep, a catholic you are, if you actually read the Bible and tested all your Church's donctrines and traditions with an honest heart, you would no doubt leave the Catholic Church.

BTW just tp remind you I am not a JW, I just defend them when some one such a yourself, who is a member of such a false christian orginization attacks them.

Also, during the Nazi regime, it was the JW's that stood firm against Hitler, yet the Catholic leaders were in agreement with him. That is why so many Catholics were in the German Military, killing the Catholics from the French, English, and American militaries. Yes, that is right, during WW2 (and WW1) Catholics killed their spiritual brothers.
If you do not have love among yourselves, how are you Christians?

the life of the Holy Spirit belongs to God our father, who is He. You can not separate the two . We have been created by a triune (three in one) God. Father, Son and Holy Spirit

And where again in the Bible does it say that the Holy Spirit IS God? What's that again? Nowhere? Why don't you stop worrying about other peoples' faith and start worrying about your own? You can start by capitalizing pronouns that refer to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It implies respect.
