Near death experiences can be a sign from God, if one would believe that, or they could be a manipulation of the brain chemical matrix. What one receives from such an experience will be determined by the individual and who else can say whether that person is right or wrong, since we all have opinions that are neither right nor wrong?
That being said, one could take the experience and attribute it to God and thus transform their life and live as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Or one could put the experience behind them and not worry about about it until it is too late to actually reflect on the true meaning of the experience.

I don't know. That's hard for me to say. I've caused one of my own "near-death experiences", and the other was a car accident (I wasn't driving)... and I really don't see how either of those two times could be a sign from God. I mean, maybe sometimes they are, but in my case, I don't think they were.
But they both changed my life!
***oh, and I'd star this question, but since this is my new account, and I'm only a lame-o level 1, I've reached my "star-limit" for the day already. lol Sorry!!***

Whether you mean almost being hit by a car or coming back to life when you're thought to be dead, my answer is the same.
People who believe in God will tend to see God in everything; people who don't, won't.
That being said, even from a theist's perspective, this is kind of absurd. There is absolutely no way to prove that this is so, nor would you know what "ways" must be changed unless you ALREADY had some idea of this. You can make of the situation whatever you wish - you can create your own reality, if you will - but that does not mean the situation had any inherent meaning. It doesn't matter anyway, since you are the one who ends up making the changes in yourself or not.

I think the mind is a very complicated thing and we do not yet understand all the working of it. Near death experiences are just something that goes on in the brain, possibly to help us cope with whatever we might be experiencing. The only thing God had to do with that is to create our brains to do such things.

my last near death experience was confusing and very complicated
I don't know if anyone will believe me but I used to think about writing a memoir about it (not that I'm that interesting haha)
but I guess that is why I care for religons now. my last near death experience happened because I was trying to keep someone else alive.
I don't know if God wanted me to change from that. So I don't know what to think.
I did anyway.

No.
Near death experience are nothing but a brain reaction to shock.
Who has seen god and talked to him while they were on a near death experience? And how were they sure it was god?

I think it can be, but I have also seen people use what they call "near death experience" to lead them to have twisted ideas of what angels are and to worship angels, etc....so that's a fine line.

It is possible for the experience to be a sign from God, but you have to have faith in God and truly believe it was from Him, and then allow it to change your life. You will have a great testimony. It's all about faith!
