omfg my grampa said i cant get a hamster at the ketchen table i broke down and started crying and still crying he said he dont want noo pets! so i just kept hitting my head agance the door but now i wanan get a pencle and stab my self! ..... my grandma said i can have it but grampa no ...i hate my life i feel like shi*t

Sorry if you're annoyed with your life, but don't kill yourself! Just CALM DOWN and talk about it with your grandpappy some more and show him that you're responsible. How? Do house chores or something, or clean your room. Show that you're a responsible young lady who can handle a hamster. Research hamsters before getting one though. Also, make sure a hamster is what you REALLY want.
P.S. Don't hit your head against the door- your brain probably isn't enjoying that. Also, use spell check. Good luck on getting your furry friend!

look i no how you feel. well actutally i dont beause i can get any pet i want since my parents dont mind..but anyways hamster arent really that great .
i dont mean to affend any hamster owneers but they are more likly to bit and they cant have a buddy. it you want something smart that you can cuddle with or learn to use a litter box your better off getting a rat but a hamster is a good start and heres a few ways of talking your grand parents into letting ou a get one.
1. say it will never go near you and will stay in my room or outside at all times.
2. talk about how much you have studied and no about ham hams
3. show that youve already made yours a house and want one really bad.
4. ask if you can have one as a birthdy present or a x-mas present
5. show him how nice they can be and wont harm a fly.
6. say you cried and cried for hours to make him feel guilty
i hope you get a rodent they are bundles of fun

I feel VERY sorry for you! Besides trying to kill yourself and keep crying, try to tell your Grampa that you REALLY want a hamster. Also, tell him how a hamster could make your life happy. Also, make a chart and show your Grandpa what days you will clean the hamster cage, which days you will play with your hamster, and other stuff like that! the fact that you through a fit like a 2 year old when he told you no tells me that you are not mature enough to have a pet let alone some thing like a hamster that is so small and fragile. my 12 year old sister is not allowed to have a pet . her dad won't allow it in his house. she got a fish at walmart and didn't let her dad know she had it but he found out any way and he flushed the thing alive. so if you don't want that to happen and really care about animals you will leave them alone for now and bring it up again when you are a little older. oh and don't be so sad you are lucky to have grandparents to care for you. some kids don't have families like that.

Crying or threatning to kill your self isn't going to make anything better. First ask your granpa why he insists on not letting you get a hamster, and what ever he says, prove him wrong. If he says it's cause they smell bad get your butt on google and print the papers up to show him that the hamsters themselves don't stink! It's the cage if you don't clean it once a week like you should (true fact). Or if he says It's a money issue tell him you'll do chores, mow peoples lawns for money, etc.,etc.,etc.!!!!!! I mean face it sweetie if ya want a hamster that bad your gonna have to work for it. Hey, that's what I had to do!

Hun, it's not the end of the world. A hamster is NOT worth killing yourself over. And if you get this upset over not being able to get a hamster in the first place, how is your grandpa supposed to think you are mature enough and responsible enough to take care of one? And also, if your this upset now, think of how you'll take it when the hamster dies? They only live two years and they are also pretty boring.

You obviously have some issues. Not getting a pet isnt the end of the world. Just calm down and maybe politely talk to your grandpa about how mature enough you could be to care for it.
This is NOT something to kill yourself over.

You cant cry over a hamster. Ask your grandpa if you could get a dog or another cat. Theres no reason to kill your self

If you can't control yourself, how can you be safe around animals?
Lots of kids take extra jobs like dog walking, pet socializing and animal training as volunteer work at the local animal shelters. Have you thought about doing something like that?
