Hi , I recently gifted my wife a labrodor pup of 4 weeks , but he has caught up Canine distemper before we could get the pup vaccinated. As per my understanding there is no cure in allopathy . Is there any cure for this in homeopahy , if so which drug and where do i get it in India.

You should have the dog euthanized. Distemper is a terrible death once the brain swelling starts. It might be more prevalent in third world countries where vaccines are used less.

I'm very sorry to hear about your wife's pup. You're right there is no cure in allopathy. There is a 50% survival rate with treatment however. There can be debilitating problems later even if your dog survives though. I honestly don't know if the homeopathic route will help, but here's a website with some information that may help. There is NO homeopathic cure for anything. Homeopathy is based on a misunderstanding of the immune response system and can cure NOTHING. The only good thing that can be said about it is that it does no direct harm.

Please do not place faith in homeopathic medicine when an animals health is at risk. Homeopathy is a baseless practice that swindles the misinformed. Your pup may survive this virus. If it does be aware that there may be some pockmarking on it teeth. This will leave the dog open to a greater risk of premature tooth decay as it ages.
