hi i am from romania and i wish to visit NYC(manhattan)in a day.I think is a great place to stay and work.I have a friend in manhattan and he don't like to stay there.I don't know why he don't like maybe the pollution is to big so many cars and traffic every day.what do you think?GIVE ME A ANSWER IF YOU ARE FROM MANHATTAN NOT!!!NOT OTHERS PLEASE.AND THANK YOU

Its a wonderful place and if you have alot of money, the possibilties are endless.
No, crime isnt out of control and if you are savy and aware, the possibility of anyting bad happening to you is slim. NYC is actually the safest big city (population over 1 million) in America.
Pollution and crowds suck, but the standard of living, the excitement, and the convience are more than worth the trouble

left manhanattan due to danger of mugging, could not walk to store and buy food without being mugged on the way home, impossible to drive, most of us use bus/trains/subway..do your homeowrk before you visit stay out of ethnic neighborhoods unless accompanied by someone who lives there
