you should stop the medication you are taking for oily skin...
use good moisturisers... drink a lot of water... do not use skin cleansers and soaps on your face... simply wash with water until the face skin comes back to its natural oily state... oily skin is a great blessing as it keep your face protected from wrinkles...

Your skin sounds just like mine! I've been prescribed both of those before too. I always use moisturizer in the morning before I put on my make up and sometimes at night. It really helps.

During the summer when it's not as dry I use Purpose Duel Treatment with SPF 15 by Johnson and Johnson.

During the winter when it is extra dry I use Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 and it reduces redness so this might actually be just perfect for you!

You can get either of them at pretty much any drug store.
Hope this helps!

1] call the dermatologist and tell him your face is flaking off.
2] ask him what kind of moisturizer would be best to use.
3] meantime, any moisturizer for oily skin should work - make sure it is non-comedogenic.
4] drink at least 1/2 gallon of water a day
5] take a multivitamin with minerals every day
6] eat well - avoid fried, fast, and junk food - even diet junk food.
7] use 'good' oils such as olive, canola, flaxseed, and omega three fish oils in salad dressings.

Home made Face mask for Dry Skin
Apply natural mayonnaise, either homemade or bought from a natural foods store. Massage onto skin, leave on for 15-20 minutes, rinse thoroughly with warm water.

BEST ANSWER!

Go to the kitchen and find a bottle of extra virgin olive oil. Pour some in your hand then rub hands together. Then apply to your face. Olive oil has natural healing and antioxidant properties that are healthful for your skin.
Hope this helps,

use an Aveeno moisturizer. it'll help reduce the redness and it will keep your skin moisturized. if it looks kinda shiny to you after putting it, just apply a dab of powder.

does your meds have salicylic acid on it? if it does then that causes the peeling and drying. Ask your derma for a moisturizer.
