Wow you are a very mis informed person. First off Manson is not an evil devil worshipping kkk nazi. In fact if you have interest in Nazism that is worse than liking Manson, he never comming Genocide. What he does do is encourages individualism and thinking for yourself. He was blamed for the Columbine incident from other closeminded indviduals that wanted someone other than themseves for what happened. I know many Christians who listen to Manson and they are probably some of the best people I know. So forget about what anyone else thinks and worrying about popular belief. You will only be happy if you do what you love. So yes you can be a perfectly good christian if you listen to Manson's music.

Relax. Manson will not kill you for being a Christian. He doesn't know you, and he doesn't care. He does not encourage kids to commit suicide, and absolutely, positively did not support the Columbine murders. If you knew anything about the guy, you'd know that. He wrote several articles about it, and has been interviewed many times about Columbine, which seriously upset him. If you're that freaked out about Manson, and believe every schoolyard rumor that comes down the pike, then stick with easy listening or Christian rock. As for being a Christian and listening to Manson, I have a Pentecostal friend who's a huge Manson fan.

what worries me most about this question is not whether you're a Christian or not for listening to him, but that you might actually believe all those things about him, Some might be partially true, wouldnt put it past him to burn crosses during his shows for a rise, but supports the Columbine High School massacre? not at all, read interviews with him, he detests that they did that. It was the mass media that was trying to blame him for that because the kids listened to his music. anyways, i thnik it is possible to listen to metal and still be Christian, as long as you know the truth and follow it and the teachings of Jesus, instead of what those songs say, just leave them as what they are, music, don't turn it into your "god".

You're not a freak, but I don't think, if these are your views, that you're Christian. All these things you've stated an interest in are things of hate and rage, which have no place in the heart and mind of a person seeking to be like Christ. This is particularly sad since, at 11, your question is more intelligently and maturely stated than questions from people many, many years your elder, and that says a lot for you. Put the power of your mind to use and consider with care and prayer what you truly believe, and if that's Christ, ask yourself what you benefit from saying you believe one thing, but living something else.

First of all, Manson is making loads of money on that stuff; anything rebellious to the parents of young people is gonna get that rocker a huge bank account. The worse he is, the more money he makes, get it?
I am a devout Christian and ya know what?
I WENT TO A MARILYN MANSON CONCERT. Yep, sure did. With my daughter. I told her I would do whatever she wanted; her choice. So she said thats what she wanted us to do together.
The very worse thing he did in the concert (and we were in the front row, so close to him that his sweat dripped down onto us)
was that he threw a Bible down onto the stage. But we were so close that we could see that IT WASN'T EVEN A REAL BIBLE!!!!! It looked like one from a distance, but it was actually a black-leather
bound copy of "black beauty". I got a real kick out of that, for sure.
The guy is only a freak because it makes him money. At home he probably listens
to Pink Floyd and collects little horse nik naks.
Don't believe the crap you read; its all just a marketed image of a "bad boy rocker", nothing more.
Chill out and don't sweat it.

First of all, the only thing on that list that Marilyn Manson actually did was burn the Bible. Second, he's not exactly a christian, if you listen to the lyrics, it is very obvious that his music isn't geared towards religious society. If it makes you not a christian, thats totally up to you. But you're being more than a little hypocritical if you claim to be Christian and enjoy listening to Marilyn Manson

just because you listen to Manson does not mean that you are not a Christian, you have free will and you choose to do as you do that does not mean that you must act or behave a certain way and you should know that all the stuff you hear that Manson does you should know he does for money nothing more or less and if the people stop coming you will see that he will get even more strong never doubt you are a Christian

Well it kind of contradicts what you are taught in church. In my opinion, Marilyn Manson is a crazy man but you are entitled to listen to whatever you want to. Just know in your heart and mind that you are still faithful to your religion. Although, being Christian and listing to marilyn manson kind of contradicts everything, that doesn't mean you are going to pee on pictures, etc, etc. It's not like you'll be doing what he is, right? I say it's okay to an extent. I mean, if it makes you uncomfortable stop listening to it.

Music doesn't tell anyone what they should/shouldn't do. Music doesn't make a person who they are. Anyone that blames music for anything is just ridiculous. Anyone that uses music as a reason to do things they shouldn't, is also ridiculous. Music is simply for entertainment. People have minds of their own and should know right from wrong and not let a song influence them.
Bottom line...you can still like this type of music and be a good person as long as you don't live by the words.

Do yourself a big favor and stop worrying about it. Marylin Manson is an entertainer who makes a living in part by being as offensive and frightening as possible. It's a big scary act. Marylin Manson isn't real.
The Nazi thing has got to go, though. You seem to have an unhealthy interest in people who gain power through fear and destruction. Stop feeding that part of yourself, and concentrate on Christ's message, which was to love God and to love other people.
