Absolutely! Someone call the DHS.

In addition...

"acctually there is legislation being offered that is called the "hate crimes" act which would also call preaching the gospel as "hate speech" and therefore a crime because someone out there may feel threatened by the words of damnation. "

Another Xtian who either cannot read or prefers to spout lies.

The bill in question is H.R. 1592, which states:

`(A) IN GENERAL- Whoever, whether or not acting under color of law, in any circumstance described in subparagraph (B), willfully causes bodily injury to any person or, through the use of fire, a firearm, or an explosive or incendiary device, attempts to cause bodily injury to any person, because of the actual or perceived religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability of any person--

Preaching is not mentioned, only willfully causing bodily injury. Of course, if you preach with clubs or from the mouth of a gun...

Stop lying!

I see you evoked some terrorized responses, so let me take your question at face-value.

It COULD be, but for the fact that terrorist organizations operatives stay hidden until using terror, then use it to advance their political agendas; where as the "church" is a more or less visible institution whose mission is not to tear down society but rather to save people; also, their operatives are in plain view and the fearsome message of Hell is not a threat exerted externally, but rather a coniditon one brings on him and herself. Sort of like the anxiety I experience when I read the label of a pack of cigarettes. Fair 'nuff?

I think that's going too far.
A relative of mine was offering gospel tracts on a public street
and asked two teenagers if they had heard about Jesus. Their Dad went and complained to a nearby police officer. When my relative asked what he did wrong, the officer said, "Well, you could be charged with making terroristic threats". He had only mentioned Jesus, not hell, damnation etc.
Okay, so when I near retirement age, and I keep reading reports about Social Security going bust, can I claim that the reporters on TV and in the newspapers are "terrorizing" me, causing me anxiety?

My Church or pastor doesn't repeat threats of Hell. My pastor and our church preaches the "good news" of Jesus Christ. We don't have to scare people with hell.

Believe in God or we'll set you on fire! Or hang you. Or maybe drown you and your children!!

If you go near that abortion clinic we will throw stones and Molotov cocktails at you!

We will publish propaganda about your anti-Christian ways and inspire others to hatred against you and your kind!

Nah, I can't see how anyone could confuse Christianity with terrorist-like activities or organizations.

Awww, poor baby got his feelings hurt. You think hearing about Hell is unpleasant; wait until you get there.

Hopefully those threats of hell are working. We certainly don't want any person going there.
