look at skinny models or celebrities, or eat a ice, or snack on low calorie stuff, like when i crave for red meat and fatty foods i just roll up bunch of shrimp(i don't like it) on seaweed so i can feel full, or i just drink tea with nonfat milk it makes me so full. or think about friends who are skinnier than u! feel the f-ing competition. do u want to lose?

Every time you have a craving brush your teeth instead it is likely you will pass on the opportunity to eat a snack since everything taste just nasty after you brush. Instead of staying around the house go for a walk, power walk with 5-10 pound weights for 15-30 minutes it will help clear your mind, it has been proven that when you exercise your body releases endorphins which in turn make you feel good about your self. Just keep your self occupied doing something constructive go to the library read a book do something staying around the house will only make matters worse for you.

Don't eat ANYTHING with refined sugar. It hits your blood stream, and spikes the blood sugar level. Then it metabolizes quickly, and your blood sugar drops quickly, and you feel hungry again. Instead, eat smaller, regular meals 3 times a day, and have something small with complex carbs in between meals. Fruit is good, or maybe a little whole wheat bread. This will even out your blood sugar levels, and help keep you from craving all the time.
To identify refined sugar, look for anything on the ingredients that ends with "-ose". Glucose, sucrose, dextrose, maltose, fructose, all are forms of sugars. If you see these in the first 4-5-6 items, or if the label says it has more than 2-3 grams of sugars per serving, move on.
Finally, drink plenty of water.

This is a very good question. Some dietitian said food is a comfort factor for a lot of people. That is why people gain weight. Also it give you a sense of success, something you can control.
The answer is if you have to eat, it is ok. Choose fruit such as carrot stick. This will keep you busy without a lot of calories. Then try to keep busy like work or games or exercise (this may be hard). Find some friends to do things together. It this does not work, you may need some other alternatives.

Helpful Tips for weight loss:
1)A good way to loose weight is to use a calorie counter watch
Keep to a 1,200 food intake
Add 1,200 plus 3,500 (equals one pound of fat) ...and that is the total amount of calories you need to burn each day. Its actually really easy once you start watching the numbers and it doesn't seem like work or exercise. Its just a matter of changing the way you think about loosing weight.
I use this method when i gain some pounds. The first time I did this I went from 168 to 127
2) Most people do not get enough water in their system. Water is your body's principal chemical component, comprising, on average, 60 percent of your weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.
Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don't have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. To determine if you are getting enough water use this simple formula.. Take your weight, for example 150 pounds and divide by 2. Take your answer which is 75 lbs and change it to ounces, in this case 75 ounces. That is how many ounces of water you need a day. Your body performs mostly on water. If you make sure you get enough water everyday your body will perform at top notch and your body will no longer have the cravings of junk food. You will have a better performing body system to help you work out and feel better thru out your day.

have a diversion to past your time. walk, run, window shop whatever.think of something that you would really like to do. after that, eating three meals a day and having a snack in between is ok just make sure that what you eat is healthy and high in fiber. high fiber foods is just eating vegetables, fruits and cereals like oatmeals. there are also energy bars that are available in the market that are also high in fiber.but watch the amount your eating.don't overeat as you would really become obese.

It's called HALT..........
Hungry
Angry
Lonely
Tired
and in your case...........worried and bored!! Here is a tip........
CHEW sugar free Gum!!! Also, your body may be telling you it is lacking something nutritionally.......And some other ideas....
Most important thing you can do is this:
1-eat every 2-3 hours (1-200 cal)--this speeds up your metabolism and keeps it moving. If you don't do this, your metabolism shuts down and stores fat.
2-eat only protein and vegetables.......get your fiber from nuts. Do NOT have any fruit-it will take you out of ketosis (highest state of fat burning).....Have NO bread, pasta, carbs.......again, your only carbs should be from nuts and veggies.
3--limit your dairy. Only cottage cheese and goats milk.
4--drink a minimum of 8 8 oz. glasses of water a day
5--limit caffeine--caffeine destabilized your blood sugars and causes you to eat.
6-- get to sleep no later than 10pm....your body rebuild itself between the hours of 10pm-6am........sleeping 11-7 isn't the same.
7--don't eat after a certain time of day.......if you are hundry, have herbal tea or something light-1oo calories max.
8--cook in olive oil and make sure you don't over do on fats.
9--move your body-walk, exercise......do a minimum of 30 min. every day.
10--stay away from stress......stress releases a chemical that makes your body store fat.
My doctor taught me all of these things and I've lost 30 pounds in 2 months.
Good luck.

you could get a hobby, like sketching, painting, golfing, if you have something to distract your mind, you wont be craving as much, also have some healthy snacks around, like apples and bananas for quick fiber to fill you up, if you healthy snacks and cut out junk food from your diet, you wont crave it anymore.
