A friend of mine just bought a new computer and has a great screensaver/desktop that I'd like to get. It looks like a fishtank with awsome detail.

Is there any way i can get that for my computer?

Thanks.

Yes, I've seen it for sale at a variety of retailers. I believe it's called Aquarium or something similar and has been around for several years. There is or was a freeware or trial version of it available but it was very limited and I don't recall where it was available.

screen savers are no more required for computer unless you are fascinated with it. It was meant to prevent the screen burn in the old crt monirots. the present day lcd monitors may not require it and also the operating system allows you to blank the screen instead of screen saver. The screen savers also take away cpu from you and heat up the computer if it is cpu intensive.

to copy the screen saver go to the C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder where c is the drive where the operating system is. Now click on the type (file type) tab in the right side and then scroll down looking for file type called screensavers. copy the screen saver you need on a floppy or cd or dvd or online to your computer in the same C:\WINDOWS\system32 directory. that is all.

I don't know what computer you have, but try this way. Open Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes, then hit Choose screen saver. From Screen saver drop-down menu choose Aquarium, then click Apply on the bottom.
Good luck.
