She can be spayed when the kittens are weaned and the mammary glands are no longer swollen. Keep her indoors as she can become pregnant again right after giving birth.

After the kittens stop nursing, but you should call a vet to make sure. Some cats can get sick if they are spaded so soon. You might want to wait a tinsy bit longer.

you can hit them with a spade at anytime, but as they get older you will have to swing harder.
