If you got a tatoo while pregnant does it take longer to heal? Does it bleed worse? Im pregnant but Im not getting one right now, just curious.

When you go to get a tattoo, you have to sign a form that says you aren't pregnant. It's an unnecessary risk to the health of your baby, to get tattooed. So, please wait until you've given birth to get your tattoo.

No,unless there are other things going on, your pregnancy alone should not change the rate at which your tattoo heals, or the way your body reacts to it (bleeding) as a matter if fact, many women with normal pregnancies are in a healthier state than they might usually be.

you SHOULD NOT get a tattoo if you are pregnant!!!! any reputable shop won't do it because there are always risks associated with getting a tattoo. you are knowingly wounding your body and there is absolutely a risk of getting an infection and that could absolutely affect the development of your baby. you MUST wait until after you have the baby before getting tattooed. (no tattoos while breast feeding either)

no it doesnt effect how it heals but the chemicals in some of the inks may effect your unborn baby, my suggestion is get your tatoo after you have your baby..and pluss if you get it now it will be all stretched and faded after you have you baby..so for looks and healt wait till after the baby is done breast feeding..if you antsy get it when the baby is born, just dont use to much red, there are certian toxins in the red dye that can infect and even kill you..dont hate me im just looking out for you and your baby

YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NOT GET A TAT WHEN PREGO...I wanted to get one..trust me but my artist told me that should you have an infection (which is rare) it could really hurt your baby...now is that worth it, even with a small chance
