I thought they were pretty fattening. I would check on the label and not eat too many. I wonder if she would buy you other healthy things.

Your avatar appears to be a guy - assuming you are normal height and weight, you need about 2,000 calories a day.
Since you are a teenager, you probably eat half of that at dinner. That leaves 1,000 calories.
I have a nature valley granola bar box in front of me.
1] at 140 calories apiece, you need a bit over 7 a day.
HOWEVER:
2] you need 30 grams of fat in 1,000 cal. - 7 bars = 28 grams
3] you need 25 grams of fiber - the bars = 7 grams
4] the only other nutrient listed on box is sodium - no vitamins,
no minerals, negligible nutrition.
Suggestions:
a] eat a lot of fruit, veggies, and enriched whole grains such as cereal for snacks
b] take multivitamins with minerals
c] tell Mom to read the label and buy different snacks
[ you would actually get more nutrition form cookies! ]

I don't think any prepackaged food in mass quantities is exactly a good idea. Go have something that's naturally sweet like fruit or something.

Ouch, nothing but that!? Is she mad? Did you know if you eat too much of one thing when you get older you'll want to try more but you can't because your stomach is use to ONE thing, so if you get on that diet and then try and get off it is possible you could die. Anywho... 5 of the bars a day. 2 snacks... 3 meals?
