i get stuck and cannot take more than a 1/4 breath in or out til it goes away sometimes almost a few minutes. i am almost paralyzed and cannot move until the feeling goes away. what is this??

If you can tell specifically where the pain is, it is most likely
heartburn which is caused by reflux of stomach acid up to your throat. Check if it occurs when you eat something in
particular like spicy food. See if it can be relieved by over-the-counter antacids or Zantac. If it's regular, see a doctor.
However, if the pain spreads over your chest and extends to your neck and arms, see a doctor immediately because it could be angina. Take Care.

You need an xray.
See a doc. If you've had any slight accident, it could be torn cartilage. That's painful and takes lots of time to heal.
Been there and done that.
