Copernicus made us face the probability that we are but a speck in the universe.

Freud made us ask ourselves whether we are totally motivated by our conscious thoughts.

So what religious revolution has made most of us change our self-view of mankind?

Actually, we have evolved only a smidge, if that.

The only thing I can think of that is epochal is: the catholic church made dogma that Mary, the mother of Jesus, has been taken into heaven and given Her throne. Why this is so crucial is: Woman has now become rightfully ordained and esteemed in Heaven. (for God only knows what reason(s), woman was in ill favor for a long, long time).

Jesus showed the desire of the Godhead to incorporate woman back into the Kingdom. He went out of His way to befriend, heal, teach and honor women.

And, in the 'dry season' men are making up stories about Him being married and siring children and all kinds of nonsense and sacrilege.
