I'm starting to finally get some wisdom with my years. I have discovered (alert the media) that sometimes having patience along with praying makes all the difference in the world, because God works in His own time. Anyone care to share a positive experience that was a result of having patience?

It's like the old attage goes "Patience is a virtue".I can list several occasions where it has paid to wait on something ,instead of jumping in blind. You always need time to assess and contemplate the outcome of almost every situation.

I got mad one time a football game wasnt starting until 1 and I thought it was 12. But I found that getting upset about it didnt make the game come on any faster.

I've been patient and not jumped the gun about some situations--I'm glad I waited until I had a clearer perspective.

Patience is a good thing. I could list many times in my life where patience has paid off in my work, my social life, and other areas.

However, prayer is a waste of time. God is just superstition.
