Yes, Adam and Eve were created as separate genders - male and female. This was obviously necessary to perpetuate the human family.
Angels however were created individually and without gender. There is no procreation among angels. Neither is there procreation among any spirit persons in the heavens.
Paradise is not synonymous with heaven as some believe. The Garden of Eden, where Adam and Eve were created, was paradise. Had they remained obedient and carried out the mandate of God, they would have spread that paradise to the ends of earth.
So if you are speaking of the earthly paradise, there will always be male and female. But there never has been male and female in the heavens. Neither is gender necessary in the heavens. There is no sexual intimacy in heaven, no babies, no marriage, no physical sexual organs. These have always been earthly things.

There is no marriage in the spiritual life.
However, the manuscripts are quite clear that even Satan himself has seed - yes, its quite clear: "SPERMA".
Satan is clearly a male. Say what you will, but thats Biblical, and straight from the original manuscripts. They are also clear that Satan impregnated Eve in the Garden.
Abel was Adams son, but Cain was Satans son. Satan was trying to pollute that pure line of lineage that thru Eve, down the generations womb-to-womb, would come the Christ.
When God found out what had happened, he told Eve he would multiply her conception; he did: multiplied by 2, exactly.
Eve was pregnant with twins.
Hard to believe that Cain was not Adams son? Check out Genesis 5:1 for the complete geneology of Adam: you won't find Cain listed because Cain simply was not Adams son. Likewise in Chapter 4, you will find the complete geneology of Cain:
you will not find Adam listed, because Adam simply was not the father of Cain:
Satan was.
This is why there was so much animosity between the two brothers.
When Cain was thrown out of the Garden, God placed a mark on him. Ever hear of the mark of the beast? This was its beginning, right here on Cain: the mark of his own blood father, Satan.
Too bad the Churches do not teach what God meant for Christians to learn; instead they put them in a pew and teach salvation, baptism and the ten commandments over and over and over for 30, 40, 50 years to the same congregation. Milk for baby Christians, but never the meat of Gods Word that would sustain and grow the Christian into a useful vessel to do the Fathers work.
Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.....
Re-read the parable of the tares in Matthew
13:36 and you will see that Christ himself tells you that an enemy came and sowed that wicked seed, yet people read right over it.
Read of Christ arguing with the Priest at the Temple when Christ tells him plainly:
"YOU ARE OF YOUR FATHER, THE DEVIL".
Baby Christians being fed baby milk, and thats why God would say in Hosea:
"they are ever-learning but never come to the knowledge of the truth".
"Ever-learning" what? the same basic baby Christian stuff over and over; the traditions of men; the church's rules and regulations;
what the Pope says instead of what God says.
The downfall of man will be his lack of knowledge. Biblical illiteracy runs rampant in the World today, and I mean even in the very Houses of God where HIS WORD is supposed to be taught. Instead, mans word is all you will ever hear...
Sorry if this offends anyone; the truth is a sword that cuts both ways, so if the shoe fits, I'm afraid you'll just have to wear it.

Since we will have new bodies in Heaven, and the Bible makes this clear, how do you suppose that we need to change anything of what we believe? Educate yourself if you want to make an intelligent argument, or at least acknowledge your ignorance so that you don't sound like a complete and total fool.

An interesting question... and to those who answer with the angels not having gender... Why, then, is the angel Gabriel or Michael the archangel referred to as "he"?
My belief (as a Christian) is that there are going to be genders in heaven. Perhaps no procreation, but at least genders.

Stop mass generalizing to promote you personal believe. ALL Christians don't 'say' there are no male & females in Heaven.
Try the one&only Church that bears His name...if you want His truth.

Mat 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
Mat 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Heaven and earth are two different places!
Heaven is (a different dimention) where spirits and souls live they have no bodies consequently, there are no such term as males or females in heaven there is no sex.
Adam & Eve need bodies to exist on earth, if we didnt have bodies we couldn't exist on earth, we would be invisible.
Like Ghosts!
