They go to so much trouble to hook them, I don't get it, is it a fetish ? are they tag chasers? I dont understand why they go to the ends of the earth to just say they have a U.S. military guy.

They want a free trip to the land of the Big PX. When I was in Okinawa, the same thing happened. Dudes I know that were stationed in Korea say the same thing.
Guys fall for it because they think with their d***s and not their brains.

well as a foreign bride my self [from England] I can assure you that in my case it mos certainly was not done for he issue of being able to live here in the USA...........but I have seen a HUGE amount of Philippine females over here a several of them are on their 2nd husband [still military of course] a couple of which have asked how come I am here, usually tell them the same as they got here, marrying a service man, the best one is them asking where my accent is from, so I always make sure I ask where there accent is from..............they seem shocked that even after [in some cases] they have been here for 20+ years and still have a very noticeable accent.

Same reason the German and Korean woman do the same... Free ticket into the states...
The men are just looking for someone to love. Most of them are young and away from home for the first time. And these girls "love them long time".
And just so I don't tick off a ton of people, not all are like that.

Think about this: A serviceman, average 18 yrs old , first time out of Podunk,USA, stationed overseas, the very first piece of @ss, ever! probably a local/native of that particular country, and they're in LOVE!
They want to take this "sweet thing" home to mama & the land of the Big PX!

Its the same situation wherevever American soldiers are stationed, they become breeding grounds for foreign women trying to hook an American and come back to America, I was stationed in Germany and it was exactly the same.
