Here's my favorite. Boil a cup of orzo pasta. Meanwhile, chop up half a bag of fresh spinach, a bunch of green onions, and drain and rinse a can of garbanzo beans. Drain the pasta and toss it with veggies (can use sun-dried tomatoes too, and pine nuts) Top it with lemon vinaigrette (recipe below), and crumbled feta.

1/3 cup olive oil
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of 2 lemons
A spoonful of minced garlic
Big hearty pinch of dried oregano
Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper

You can also add about anything else to this, like black olives.

Try this easy & quick fruit salad called FIVE CUP SALAD. 1 Cup marshmellows 1 Cup coconut 1 Cup canned mandarin oranges (drain juice before adding) 1 Cup canned pineapple (drain & use tidbit type) 1 Cup sour cream. Combine these five ingredients, stir gently to blend, chill & serve.

In hot weather, we have a chef's salad many times for our main meal. I start with a bag of lettuce mix from the market, add thin slivers of roast turkey, ham, roast beef, swiss cheese or provalone, tomato wedges, olives, pickles, hard boiled egg, sometimes chick peas, cucumber slices and croutons.Serve with a choice of bottled or homemade dressings and some fresh bread. It's a great summertime meal.

What is sald? I've never heard of it!

~~EDIT~~~
Lol okay....better....anyway you don't need a recipe for salad, if you are talking about a tossed green salad. Just cut up preferred lettuce and raw veggies of choice, mix up together and top with dressing you like and croutons, bacon bits, and sunflower seeds!! (My fave.) I like to use green leaf lettuce, or a spring mix, green bell pepper, grape tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, and cucumbers topped with either Ranch or Balsamic Vinaigrette.
