Enough of the talk, who is going to start a national petition against illegal immigration?

It would appear to me with the amount of unemployment in the United States and with true Americans not being able to obtain employment that someone would step up to the plate on a national level. I am not talking about syndicated talk shows like Lou Dobbs, but a grassroot group that put the fear of God in politicians, La Raza, liberal groups, and illegals themselves .

I am not talking about an opinion poll; I am talking about an accountability group that will not back down and negotitate with wicked and cunny politicians. This group could find millions in funding both the private and public sector. It would hold employers accountable and demand speedy action.

The Americans' Voice For Change would be a good title. I would move and work for the organization without hesitation. Change will never happen unless we take the argument from Yahoo Answers to mainstream America.

This is the point in history where it's now or never. Hoping for the best out of D.C. is futile.

I don't know if any politician has the balls to enforce the immigration laws. I think they are basically afraid of La Raza and with all the illegals in California, New Mexico and Arizona, they could well take over those states. The politicians still refuse to build the fence. I am wondering if the following is the reason why:
1) North American Free Trade Area (maybe the US has an agreement with Mexico and Canada that they haven't told us)
2) Afraid of La Raza and the havoc those illegals can cause.
3) The Mexican gangs.
4) The Mexican drug lords and drug dealers.
5) The cheap labor (no one seems to realize if they are made legal, they will demand high wages!)
6) Social Security. (This could be a ploy to prop up the SS system for only a few years).

You are right, hoping for the best out of D.C. is futile. They seem to all be a bunch of greedy politicians only looking out for themselves with bribes and their hands out. I am hoping Fred Thompson will stop this immigration insanity. Otherwise, how about Tom Tancredo? I think any politician that runs for President on the platform of closing the border and kicking out the drug dealers, gang members, prisoners, and then kick out anybody that is on welfare, food stamps, etc. No more anchor babies.

No one here. They complain about having to lift a finger to "press one"... what you are suggesting would require way to much effort. And count me out too, I prefer to stay here in Yahoo Answers.
