I have relatively minor scars (not deep but some superficial craters) from acne. The only reason I would get it done is because I can, and it does appears pretty safe. However, other than that it's really not something that bothers me too much--plus, it's really what's inside that matters not substance. Btw I'm 17. You know cause I want people to love me for me and not what they see on the outside(I'm pretty apparently according to people).

If I were you, I would wait until I turn 18. Hormonal changes might affect not only your final outcome, but also the way your skin will look for the rest of your life. Adolescent hormonal fluctuations sometimes damages the body's recovery process, leaving your face with permanent scarring and uneven skin patches. Bottom line: avoid exfoliating procedures until you turn 18. Only then you can fully enjoy the nice results of a resurfacing procedure.
Good luck.

It is a fairly simple, relatively risk free procedure. If it makes you feel better about yourself, than no harm done

If you can afford it, and you are doing it because YOU want to do it, and not for everyone/anyone else.....then there is nothing wrong with it at all.......
