My hubbie is disabled he is young only 42 years old. He has fibromialga , bulging disk in his back and neck shoulder problems knee and hip I know this all sounds terrible but he loves our Lord and follows his word every day. He is a wonderful Christian man and studies his Bible. Some of you might say why is he disabled? Why would God let this happen. We know it is so we will be closer to our Lord! Sometimes we all need a little kick in the pants to get back to our Lord. And after we are back he is so good to us!

Dear Lord,
I ask in the name of Jesus that you continue to be a real presence in the lives of these two believers. They trust in you. They have faith in you. Prove yourself trustworthy yet again by blessing them with the renewed amazing knowledge of your love for then, and for your provision which you promised all your children.
You are a God who loves those who are yours. Though most men would consider this man's plight as a punishment from God, these two precious people see it as a blessing. Their faith is strong. And as a testament to you, they are telling the world on Yahoo Answers. Thank you God for people like this who are willing to stand in the midst of hardship, and are willing to stand openly and publicly.
Stand with him in his pain, for it sounds like it is much pain and often. Stand with her as she stands behind the man you gave her. Help us remember that in your word you said you would create beauty from ashes, and what doesn't make sense you would make sense of, and one day we would understand it all. Faith is believing what we can't see, and these people are living that faith. Thank you, Lord. Bless them, keep them, shine your light on them for all to see God's truth through them. In Jesus name, for above him there is no other... Amen.

I hope the best for your husband , but in the event that this God of yours doesnt show up or improve your situation , just try your best . And if God kicked the people that deserved it , it would be easier to believe in this God of yours . Somehow it doesnt work that way.

Yes, I'm praying. Also, t) here are "alternative" healing systems for these things. (My husband just read some to me the other day, but I don't remember what it was...I pray you will find and accept one of them before this goes on too long. Keep hope alive!

i know where you're coming from. my husband has been disabled since 1997, he had surgery on his back 3 times, he has steel rods & pins in his back. he also has carpal tunnel syndrome, he has achilles tendonitis in his foot and he also has a knee problem that he needs surgery on. since the death of our son in 2002 he has developed high blood pressure. he takes more medicine than you can imagine and is in constant pain, and he of course suffers from depression and i can tell you the only way he gets through everyday is through the grace of God which is sufficient. i will pray for your husband and please remember us in your prayers. i will also pray for you, because i know what you're going through! God bless and keep you.

Father, I want to come to you, to lift Nancy L.'s hubby up to you. I ask you Lord to put your healing hands upon Him. We know your Word says that by Your stripes we ARE healed. Lord allow Him to feel your presence in a powerful way. Give Nancy your peace and comfort. In Jesus Holy name we ask these things for your glory,Amen.

"a little kick in the pants" would be a little kick in the pants, serious health problems are not.
I really for the life of me cannot understand this way of thinking.

Yes I will 'pray' for him...and I urge you to investigate some natural remedies for fibromyalgia...such as vegan diet and gentle exercise...
I have polymyalgia rheumatica and a vegan diet turned my life around...

Then why are you asking us to pray for him? If this is his 'kick in the pants', well just ride it out, the Lord will provide relieve when He sees fit!
