In christianity...you have a God that wants blood sacrifices in the old testament. In the new testament you have a god that needed the blood of jesus to wash away everyones sins. A god that has a talking snake, bush and donkey, A god thats best idea to populate a world was putting two people on it so that their kids would have to commit incest.
So there you have it, a church with blood sacrifices, talking animals and incest...plus countless murders by the god.....what else could you possibly call your beliefs other than a cult?

You notice that since a good response can't be given, they insult you.
I for one think you have a great question and always felt like Christianity was cult like.

Everything you said is true, but you've just cherry picked out things you think are horrible negatives rather than looking at Christianity as whole. Rather than attempting to offend people look at the Bible/religion as a whole, and maybe you'll see some context for these things.
i.e.
God does demand a blood sacrifice, but it was of animals in the O.T. which in practical terms really isn't much different than slaughtering animals for food. And then in the N.T. he sacrificed himself. Not the sort of thing a vengeful, evil God would do.
The reason incest, between brother and sister, is bad is due to the negative recessive genetic traits it brings out. The first two people shouldn't have developed negative genetic traits yet, hence no problem.
And seriously what is wrong with God using a talking a**? The people who run our country use them all them time.

"Cult" is an accolade describing cultural popularity.
I personally don't think God wanted blood sacrifices. I think it's obvious that the degradation that sin brings automatically leads to a bloodbath. God offered His Own blood to satisfy the vengeful feelings that people started expressing Right Away after they lost their godlikeness...
Incest is only a problem when there's a genetic imperfection.
And I have a talking Computer! (Yeah! Answers is my favorite cult!)

By definition "Cult" means a particular system of (religious) belief or worship.
This can be applied to all religions including Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam-ism, Taoism, Jainism, Shintoism, etc.

They will tell you that cults are of Satan so they couldn't possibly be a cult. They also worship the blood of Jesus. They sing and talk about the power in the blood. They really don't understand about the blood. They just blindly follow the teachings on it. And, use it for their salvation. Murder, death and blood bring salvation from what? I accidentally typed slavation for salvation and look what I found.

I don't. Feel free to call me a 'cult member' just as long as you remember that anyone plus God is in the majority.
You really should read the Bible with understanding before you open your mouth and display the vast array of misinformation you've spouted in this thread.
Your ignorance of the Bible is telling on you.

I don't believe that "blood sacrifices, talking animals and incest" is the definition of a cult. I could call you a dumbass, and you probably wouldn't like it. But guess what? You made a fool out of yourself while trying to be witty. Mostly because the answer is obvious... Who would LIKE their beliefs to be called cultish? So there you have it, your probably a teenage kid giggling in his "pj's" right now, you don't know how to use a dictionary, and you asked a retarded question... What else could I possibly call you but a dumbass?

Let's not forget the cannibalistic and/or vampiric nature of the cult.

Because deep down they know that it might be true. If you kill your enemy, does that not help prove that your god is stronger?
