It depends. You left out the important information. You will ovulate approximately 14 days after the first day of your period. If your period lasts 6 or 7 days then yes, you would be right on the money. You would probably be a bit on the late side to get pregnant. If you were trying to conceive I would tell you to have sex on the 12 and 13th day for optimal results but the 14th day might work.****I hate to burst certain people's bubble's but you can not get pregnant "any time" and sperm do NOT live for a week in a woman's body. During ovulation the sperm can live in the special fluid produced by the cervix for up to 5 days. The rest of the cycle the sperm are killed by the acid environment of the vagina within 30 minutes to an hour. Those are the facts.****
Now if your periods are only 5 days long then you are really in the area of the best time to get pregnant.
I assume that you had sex around that time. If it was unprotected then I would say there is a very good chance that you are pregnant.
In order to answer your question properly I need to know how long your period was. In other words, if you count the first day of your period as day #1, then on what day did you have sex?
Also it is important to know how many days you go between periods. Most women go 28 days in between cycles but that is only an average, it might be different for you. A woman on a 24 day cycle would ovulate on a different day than a woman on a 30 day schedule would.
I would need to know that information in order to give you a better answer. With the little information that you have given me my answer would be yes.
If I can help in any way, please feel free to contact me.
Love and Blessings
Lady Trinity~****Looking at your question I realize that you could have been asking if you could get pregnant on the 8th day of your cycle. I assumed you meant the 8th day *after* you stopped your period. That would put you on about the 14th day of your cycle, good time to get pregnant. BUT, if you meant the 8th day of your cycle then no, it would have been too early for you to have conceived, tho never say never, odder things have happened. You can still write to me if you would like to clarify what you did mean.*****

To conceive on that day you would have had to ovulated that day, which would give you a 22 day cycle, and that's very short. It would be a more likely scenario however, that sex on that day could result in a pregnancy, since sperm can live up to 5 days, so if you ovulated within 5 days after that then you could get pregnant. For example. I conceived my daughter by having sex 4 days before I ovulated.

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/1c5tn

The only time a physical compliment is expected and truly appreciated by a woman (unless she’s naked) is when you first pick her up for a date. Learn here http://AttractAnyWoman.emuy.info/?w3sq
She has put forth a great deal of effort to look good for you and her efforts should be acknowledged. Tell her she looks pretty or beautiful; maybe give her a little spin while you appreciate her loveliness. Then stop. After that moment all compliments should be general, like “that’s fascinating”, “cool” and “awesome”. You will make a woman feel more attractive by letting her know that that she is interesting and special than you will by talking about her physical attributes.

If your trying to conceive then you will find it difficult, if your not, you will catch like a spark igniting a gas can.

Sods law.

It took me and my partner 18 months of trying before she caught.
