Between day 10 and 14 is most usual to ovulate. Day one is the day your period starts.

You can't count the days because not every women ovuates on day 14 of her cycle. Some ovulate as early as day 6 - others as late as day 22 or beyond! And any women can have longer or shorter cycles than usual. Its fallacy to beleive its "always" day 14 or thereabouts!
Fertility Awareness is the only way of finding out what YOUR Pattern is.
Get hold of a copy of "Taking Charge of your Fertility" by Toni Wechlser and start tracking your fertilty signs (Basal Body Temperature Charting, Cervical Fluid, Cervix position etc). Its the only way you can do this properly.

My period started June 23rd, and I ovulated July 7th. I chart my temps so I know exactly when I ovulated. You probably ovulated somewhere between July 6th-July 12th, it depends on how long your cycle is. I missed my period last Saturday and I took a test and I am pregnant. Maybe you should take a test too.
