This is an outright lie...The Golden plates were taken away by an angel. He never melted them to make a church.
As for his many wives...He didn't have any children by other wives.

I believe that if there was any tablets found by Joseph Smith, then they weren't Gold because how is that being humble (speaking from a Christian or...biblical aspect)? Were the Ten Commandments made out of gold? How about Jesus's chalice? Of course not
