To be a flight attendant in the US and Canada (whether male or female) the general minimums are:
At least 18 years of age. Some airlines will require 19-21.
High School diploma or GED
Height between 5' and 6'
Weight in proportion to your height
No visible tattoos while in uniform
No visible body piercings, aside from pierced ears. Male flight attendants are usually allowed a small simple ear stud.
Fluent in English. Most Canadian airlines require fluency in French as well. Additional languages are helpful, but not required.
US applicants must be US Citizens or resident aliens with a work permit (green card). Canadian applicants must be Canadian Citizens or resident aliens with a work permit. No US or Canadian airline will sponsor you for residency or citizenship. You will need these requirements before applying for the position.

no shorter than 5 10
presentable
preferably in hotel, tourism or flight oriented previous job
good verbal skills
good welcoming attitude

You need to either talk to the airlines or some of the stewards and stewardess. I am sure they have common requirements but also each of them may require something the others don't. The best way to find out is to jump in with both feet and check it out. There is online information. Good luck!
