This pill is round and white. one side has the #s 5588 on it.the other side has the word dan written on both sides

Where did you get it from? If you do not know the name of the pill, chances are you do not want to take it. You may not be sure if it is a muscle relaxer or pain killer, taking it could have really bad effects. You could even be allergic to it, and die from taking it. Throw it down the toilet is your best bet.

I wouldn't take it. Usually, muscle relaxers are also pain killers and vice versa. Check with your pharmacist to see if they have any information on a pill of that description.

Don't take it if you don't know what it is and it wasn't prescribed to you by a doctor. It could be very dangerous. You probably don't know how old it is either.
