Ok, all this Evolution crap I don't believe...some reasons are because if we evolved from apes or monkey's then why don't we have it still in our gene's to swing and fly from trees in seconds flat? further more why then can humans be trained 1000 times easier than an ape in a zoo? and why can humans drive, and operate thousands of machines to make other thing's etc, and even if evolution was true, then who created all the planets, dinosoars, and plant life, on all these planets in out solar system?

A bit early in the day, but *Drink*

You know the difference between ignorance and stupidity?

One is curable.

Ignorance can be cured by seeking knowledge. Stupidity is when a person chooses to believe something that is not true regardless of evidence or fact.

Everyone is born ignorant, stupidity is a choice.

I don't know where to begin with this. Ah, perhaps you should consider going to school? Evolution does not in any way imply that we evolved from apes, although it does suggest that we share much in common with them as we share the same distant ancestor. Which can be proven through carbon dating on fossils, genetic research etc. Furthermore; apes CAN be trained to operate machinery. Evolution doesn't deal with the creation of planets, that's dealt with in a different subject called "physics". Dinosaurs were also the results of evolution, it isn't just limited to humans and apes believe it or not. Plant life too even. Also, why are you so certain that plant and animal life exists on other planets? Are you not aware that nothing exists outside of the Earth's atmosphere? In fact, no one else exists except you. You are the sole uncaused cause that orchestrates the entire planet. (The Chaos Theory, ever heard of it?) Nevermind, I'm just screwing with you, go to school. Do whatever it takes.

Monkeys and apes are different kinds of animals. Humans are apes, and not all apes "swing" from trees (gorillas for example). If humans and other apes didn't evolve from a common ancestor, why then do we share 95% of our DNA with apes?

It is debatable the ease with which humans can be "trained," but it is clear that apes can be taught to communicate with signs and sign language, so it would seem that their intelligence does understand our own.

Humans can drive and operate machines because we invented them. Other apes make and use tools.

Life has never been discovered on another planet.

No, you can't have both. Most people can reconcile evolution with God, especially since evolution says nothing of the existence of God.

When we descended from the trees, 4 million years ago, we began on a path that allows us to make tools. Our hands are flat relative to other apes.

Evolution deals with life, including plants and dinosaurs which evolved. Planets were formed by an unrelated process.

Wrong. You can believe in God and the scientific theory of evolution.

Simple put: God reveals and man observes.

There was a revelation as spoken through the prophets.

There is the scientific method that is based on observations and theories that explains them. Scientific facts are observations made by men independent of location. The scientific theory of evolution explains facts.

There are no facts in the bible because the bible is a religious book, in fact a collection of Eastern religious books which tells of God not by observation but by revelation.

Your ignorance and lack of faith does not justify stupidity. Just become you don't believe the theory of evolution does not limit God from creating it.

There is a 3rd option.

It is little known, and a well-guarded secret for some reason.

It is evidenced in both science and religion.

It is the Process of Emanation.

You can find this evidenced in the Qabalah, the Tattvas, Taoism, and many other wisdom systems.

You also find it everywhere in the physical universe, such as biology, as organisms begin as a single cell that divides itself over and over again to form creation.

Don't get caught up in the either/or debate! Always look for the "and"!!!

Like hell you can't, evolution is a fact, and the big bang is the closest we have to a theory of how the world started. I believe both of those happened and that a god may or may not exist, definitely not the Christian god, or any other god to any other religion I know of.

The 2 can co-exist, it's just that science has proven the Christian religion to be inaccurate, and does it really, REALLY make more since that god just 'did his magic' and created us, opposed to explaining things through how we can view the planet (Scientifically).

I'll tell you what, let's see god make one new plant or animal, opposed to evolution and cross-breeding, that we can do.

Believing that he just 'made the world' is soooo ignorant on so many levels.

1. We didnt come from monkeys, evolution teaches we came from the same thing monkeys came from.
2. Evolution could be God's plan could it not?
3. The bing bang gives the 'other' creation

It IS possible to believe in both

You're an american, aren't you?

Science is to be understood, not "believed in". Do you "believe in" gravity?
Humans are apes.
Different evolutionary paths.
Life evolved.
Stars and planets are formed by gravity.

Just because you're a christian does not mean you're banned from the library.

You're doing both christians and americans a disservice by asking questions.

If you really want to learn, please ask in the right category next time.

I have both.
Evolution.....evolved. If we evolved from monkeys, we changed. We developed into more intelligent creatures.
God created the universe. He created monkeys.
We evolved form the monkeys.

Evolution has nothing to do with planets and the universe.
