practice, practice -
go hit golf balls at the range...
He may have a natural "gift" at the sport. You may have to work at it a bit more.
Don't compare - just enjoy your game!
It's a fun and frustrating sport - good luck!

Practice, take more lessons, be patient, read a book about golf, don't stress...

be mentally stronger play to your strengths not his and work on the weakest parts of your game when you practice. in general guys hit it farther and higher so go learn to outchip and putt him it will drive him nuts
