Firstly, for goodness sakes I'm not saying this has, or will occur, this is a HYPOTHETICAL question.
Hypothetical situation. you are out in public. and out of nowhere, from around a corner or whatever... something actively, clearly "Magickal" happens. I'm talking dramatic, hollywood turned real life, harry potter sorta crap here. just right in front of you, BAM. fireballs or magic bolts or force fields or whatever the hell you envision the best. I mean, like current day, CLEARLY "this is not technology, or "normal" at all" type things. clearly, unquestionably "supernatural" and manifestly, observably, go touch the broken glass type real. obviously not staged or a hoax or anything.
right in front of you.
and everyone else around you seeing it too.
how do you think you would handle it? would it change your beliefs? would you go insane? would you just not belive it was real, even though it happened right in front of you?

please, "that could not happen" is not useful. imagine IF IT DID, HYPOTHETICALLY. despite your views saying "that would be absolutely impossible to occur"
other forms of "it just wouldn't happen" are equally pointless. just imagine *if it did*.

this is mostly pointed at people who think that such things absoultley could not occur, but I'm interested in what people think in general too.
and I do not think that such an event is wholely impossible now, I think that its a very uncommon thing now, but that theres a possibility in the semi-near future for things such as described to be less-uncommon.
but for the question, its just hypothetical.
Smirk, and when there were none, and it was simply real? then what?
Dan, what about the (however many would get the point across) people also there with you, who saw it?
and what about, (lets say) damage to things nearby, that *really* was there. and *really* was such that the way it occured, only made sense, with what you (and the others) observed?
