In this time and age, since we all read the bible and contemplate on it several times in our lives, is it enough to say that God should have already destroyed the world 2x over in the last decade. Why? Because of the sin of man, the more the decade approaches the more sinister we become, oh..so you are not concern because you are that good, come on, remember the bible "those who have no sin, cast the first stone.." Maybe God is already talking to us, remember Katrina's fury, more draught, more hurrican, tsunami incident around the globe, and much more will come definitely unless we turn to God, the more we turn our backs. So it is time for God to do the appropriate move? Time of reckoning?

If you change you Glasses and then look around, there is a matching if not more of goodness in the world than it was years back. All the disasters you mentioned and many more were natural and are well known except for the inadequacy of our capabilities to foresee and deal with them.God is not a Geographical Freak and you should be wiser enough in assigning him roles with respect to the living creatures and the universe.Time for Reckoning is every day where we are answerable for our acts and deeds.

Why do religious types always yearn for the destruction of Earth and Humanity, they have been doing it for at least 2,000 years. Why are they so non life-affirming?

And natural disasters have always been with us, in fact the last 50 years have been as safe as any to be a human being, no major wars for a start.

Ugh. I'm sorry, but I don't understand this line of thinking. Do people just space out during weather and Earth climate lessons in school?
