Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

Try to eat slow-burning carbs (wholemeal bread and the like) to keep your hunger at bay... Drink plenty of water, especially about a half-hour before meals, which should help to fill you up, so that you feel less hungry when you sit down to eat.
Switch to activities outside of your home, which will keep you more than arms length away from the fridge!! Take some exercise - swimming, walking, roller-blading etc.,
Finally, keep eating the healthy stuff in preference to the "bad stuff"
Good Luck!

Make sure you eat enough first of all. Once you have that down and are still hungry then sit down and think of a healthy snack that you can get from the grocery store that you can eat when you get hungry. It's probably just a mental thing or maybe you have a fast metabolism. I heard that chewing food slowly is also good for reducing hunger.

First off, what kind of "healthy" food you have? Remember that you also need to eat fats! yesits sounds bad, the word "fats" doesnt necesarely mean you gain weight with it. Its simply something our bodies mean. Also take into consideration that you might not be getting enough food in your system and your body ask for more. Also it matters how many calories you burn a day, burning calories makes you hungry too!
So remember that you need a well balacend diet with lots of grains, fats, juices, fruits, and specially veggies. Also chicken will fill you up and its a good source of protein as in fish and other foods.
If you want to control your hunger the best way to do it its to concentrate enough and say no more compulsive eating! Also streess might be a factor in hunger. So relax. And concentrate in acheving what your body ask for.
Good luck!

Well there is nothing wrong with eating. It's WHAT are you eating. If you get hungry if you always grab for fruit or veggies or something healthy you can pretty much eat as much of that as you want and be fine. But you should go to the doctor and make sure that it isn't something more serious that is making you hungry. Good Luck!

One thing that helps me curve my cravings is to workout or exercise. For some reason, I don't eat as much after I have jogged. Inactivity (such as reading, crocheting, and video games) can make things worse. My experience has been that I eat more whenever I do less. It is weird but true.
Although the activities you choose to do are good things, they require very little physical activity.

it seems like the choices of activities you are doing are lax meaning sitting down activities. when u do thse activiities, try eating lite snacks like carrots or some kind of fruit. its ok to eat but eat small portions on the othr hand, also if u hav time replace one of these activities with playing a sport to keep you active or do one on your own like going for a walk, start jogging or biking.
also keep in mind are you finishing your activity before u eat or do u find yourself eating before it is finished. then possibly u have a tendency of avoiding the finish line. get yourself a bottle of water n tell yourself u are going to finish your activity. it is all about self-discipline. chek off on a calendar evry time u did this n reward urself w/ another activity u like to do or call a friend n share the good news. if u think u can, u can.

You may be lacking serotonin. You may want to do things to get your endorphins pumping like exercise, massage, deep relaxation, self-hynosis. You may also be lacking in B vitamins. You may want to check with your health care provider to see if you are depressed or dysthmic. When is the last time you had a complete physical and had your thyroid and/or hormonal levels checked?

Drink a large glass of water instead. Chewing gum might help too. Also, take a multivitamin. Sometimes we have cravings when our body is missing nutrients. Good luck.
