If you are trying to lose weight, then do it sensibly. Water alone does not contain all of the various nutrients that our bodies need. You must eat something - preferably healthy - in order to survive.

Also - by only drinking water, the danger is that you will have too much in your system. This can lead to problems within the brain because too much throws the chemical balance in your blood out of whack. When it comes to the body, it's all about the balance.

Eat, but eat healthy, and drink water - up to 32 oz. per day. Excercise helps too. You'll get there...

Good luck.

Assuming you are in good health, and assuming you do not have fluctuating blood sugar levels, and assuming you have at least a bit of extra fat, it's fine for about twenty-four to forty-eight hours.

It's called fasting, and has been practiced for thousands of years, for many reasons, often spiritual.

But there are ways to fast without sticking to just water. You can find various approaches to fasting by using Google.

One good way is to drink maple syrup mixed with water and a touch of lemon. This will help prevent your blood sugar from dropping and help you maintain a high level of energy.

Not Bad___________ but don't go more than 12 hours without eating.

Your body can derive energy for days from stored fat in your tissues.

But your brain requires carbohydrate ( glucose) to function and the stores of glucose are in your liver, and these are significantly depleted in 12 hours.

Bottom Line: Eat sensibly 3 times a day. Drink plenty of water. Avoid fads.

You cannot get the vitamins and minerals your body needs to function PROPERLY from water alone. Good, healthy food is the body's fuel. We need to eat!

You have to eat, to live. It should not be a thought in anyone's mind. Have a great day.
