I would find that refreshing and agree with him...and stay to hear what he had to say...

Hiya, Uncle Wayne!
I, as a Muslim, do not believe that one has to be Muslim to enter Paradise. I believe that Allah has led me to this path and I must follow it, but the Qur'an tells us over and over again that Allah is Most Merciful, Most Compassionate. I trust in his mercy to open the gates of heaven to others who may be good people, but do not have the same understanding.
That being said, IF I were sitting in a church (let's say for informational purposes or interfaith dialogue) and the preacher announced that, I would listen attentively and appreciate his position that he and his flock do not have a "lock" on Heaven.
Then I'd leave and go get Indian food for lunch.

Wasn't "30 Ways to Get to Heaven" a Paul Simon song?
See you at the tabernac, Jack
Eat some more bran, Stan
Pick up the cross, Ross

do they have cookies at this church?
my church has cookies after the service.
Jesus said
" I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me".
I choose to follow the teachings of Jesus, however in that teaching, it says many time in many ways that we are not to judge, and I also choose to follow that teaching.
although I will go to a church that preaches Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
I do not have the infinite knowledge that tell me, my way is the only way.

I would be shocked at how smart the preacher was. To actually be that open and to admit there is not only one way would be amazing.
Plus I'd be more likely to stay and listen just to hear what else he had to say. However if he started trying to narrow the possibility of other things I'd leave after he finished and I wouldn't be back.

I would listen to the message, and if I had a problem with his teaching, go to him privately and ask for his sources of information. Only then could I make an intelligent choice as to whether I could agree with his teachings. I would, however, probably take a pass on any green Kool-Aid.

The apostle Paul said something like that at mars hill. The people there had many God and even a representative for the unknown God. He got their attention, told them he'd like to tell then about the unknown God and preached Jesus. Each person has his way to heaven--The word of God give one way and one belief. Jesus Christ--everything else is added by men. I would say Mans ways are not God's way--listen for the word can come by many means. If God be fore it who can be against it?

I would say that the question is worrying only someone who wants to belittle a religion he is afraid of. There are more than 30 people in this world that are capable of true love so there are more than 30 ways of showing that love . I do not have to pray 5 times a day to show that love, nor do i have to be tempted to follow the promise of being rewarded by the physical attentions of 72 Virgins when I die.I do not have to have got the Message of Jesus only through Jesus. The church you refer to only directs you to one great Virtue. LOVE
You misunderstand wantonly .

I would say well its good that you are finally realizing that there is more then one way to Heaven, and its good that you are inviting us to stay and learn your path instead of commanding it. I would go and search for other paths to Heaven if that one wasnt doing it for me.

I wouldn't be surprised. Preachers are human, not God himself. I would also keep doing what I'm doing now - being what I feel a Christian should be, not what the preachers tell me I should be.

I would think, finally, someone who understands that salvation is not limited to our understanding. The bible says that the Spirit of God is working in the hearts of all men to bring them to salvation. While that salvation is through Christ, who are we to limit how and through which religious organizations that work takes place...wonderful question Wayne!
