He Who created the seven heavens in layers… (Qur'an, 67:3)
If Mohammad really wrote the Quran then how did he know that the atmosphere is made up of seven layers.

The Atmosphere is not heaven, or did they not tell you that in school.
I can cherry pick unconcivincing quotes from any long book and make them seem 'scientific', The fact is that Muslims in the 7th Century were not particularly well educated in science compared to other civilisations of the time, the Greeks and Egyptians and the Chinses knew far more science.

This website is confusing, seven layers of atmosphere do not mean heaven.
Heavens are some things where no human can go beyond it, as mentioned in Chapter Ar-Rehman.
Also it said in Qura'n the closest heaven to Earth is spread with stars, so the first heaven from earth is beyond stars.

The Prophet Mohammad pbh did not write the Holey Quran it was narrated to him by ete Angel Gabrial .the Sahaba brought all taht aawas told to the Prophet Mohammed to geather so as we do not for get the word of Allah
