I know they did some crazy stuff. If A viking captain died, he was placed on his boat and it was set ablaze.....along with all his living crew and family... That's right. they were burned alive with him.
But I still have to believe that there were some good vikings who were a little less barbaric than that. So maybe not all went to hell.

None of them did.
The vikings didn't have a concept of 'Hell' as a place; Hel was a person, the goddess of the underworld.
Those vikings who died unarmed, or in disgrace, went to NIFLHEIM, which was the domain of Hel; Those who died in battle, or performing some great act of bravery went to the meadhall of Thor, which was called Valhall; the remainder went to the meadhall of Frey. Those vikings in Valhall and Frey's hall would fight on the side of the Gods at Ragnarok; those in Niflheim would fight on the side of Loki and the Jotuns.

Nope. Same reason Union organizers don't. The Devil runs an orderly shop and them folks is just too disruptive. Not to mention totally lacking in anything like the proper respect.

And Diane, Hel--from which we get our modern word "Hell," referred to both the Goddess and her domain, like the Greek Hades. According to the Norse, it was a cold place.

I am from Minnesota and I think if the Vikings don't win a Superbowl soon, well maybe. ;)

no some of them went to barstow California and some went
to Minnesota to start a n.f.l. foot ball team .
