which military service academies will i make it into? or colleges?
I have recieved 1830 on SAT (Math- 620, Verbal-630, Writing- 580) Fortunetly, military service academies don't count writing section, therefore, it will be 1250 out of 1600. i have GPA of 3.08. Perticipate in Football for 2 years and crew for 3 years, in Civil Air Patrol, doing brazilian Ju-jitsu and i'm the president of music club which i created. i have about 270 hours of community service hours. and i'm learning how to fly cessna and will obtain a licience.

your SAT scores are good, but your GPA isn't so much. everything else looks good though. but if you haven't already applied, and you are a rising Senior, it may be too late. you must be nominated by your Congressman or Senator.

if you want to serve in the military and you don't get offered a slot in any of the Acadamies, consider going to a college that has ROTC for the Branch you want. do well there, and you will have a Commission at the end of your four years. In fact, you may even score a ROTC scholarship to help pay for it all.

You need to direct the question about service academies to the district office of your Member of Congress. Most folks selected for those academies are done via Congressional appointments. However, the Secretaries of the Army, Navy and Air Force have the authority to send qualified enlisted personnel to their respective academies.
